her ability to inform, helps guide both buyer and seller to rewarding

match people and places.
Sharon's Match with Kona
Sharon Morris and her husband Bob discovered the Big Island 20
years ago. Then living in Seattle, Hawaii lured them with a great
climate as well as the potential for a year-round healthy, active
lifestyle.
Arriving late in the evening on their first visit to Kona, they
dined outdoors on a lanai overlooking the shore's edge. The balmy
evening, the heady fragrance of plumeria, the turtles and sea life
playing in the ocean below invited Sharon and Bob to stay. The
tropical vegetation, fruits and flowers reminded Sharon of Ghana in
West Africa, where she had lived years before.
Canceling their reservations to see other Hawaiian Islands, Sharon
and Bob researched real estate opportunities in the Kona area. Their
explorations led them to the renowned Kona coffee region. Within ten
days of their arrival, they purchased acreage to plant coffee and
build their dream home.
Since then they have constructed or remodeled six custom homes and
developed a unique subdivision in desirable Holualoa. Sharon designed
floor plans, selected and purchased materials, and supervised the
finish work and quality control for these properties. She knows how
to work with architects, contractors and county agencies.
A Knack for Matching
In Sharon's first job in a placement agency, she had a knack for
matching job-seekers with employers. By age 24 she was the director
of human resources for a department store chain in Seattle. She later
served as employment manager for a retail conglomerate with over 9,000
employees. Later Sharon was a human resources director in higher
education. During this time she also earned her master's degree which
afforded her opportunities to further hone her leadership and
matchmaking skills.
Her knack for matching people and their work transferred easily
into matching people and their places. Since 1989, Sharon has been
representing real estate buyers and sellers along the Kona and Kohala
coasts. Her experience ranges from agricultural land and coffee farms
to luxury oceanfront estates. Sharon matches her expertise to fit her
client's need, be it rental property, second or retirement home or
primary residence.
2002 Top Producer for her office, Sharon also won the Coldwell
Banker International President's Circle Award, recognizing the top 12%
of more than 110,000 agents worldwide. She credits much of her
success to the loyalty of clients who have returned to her to sell and
buy another property.
As Broker-in-Charge of her Coldwell Banker Maryl Realty office,
Sharon exercises her skill at negotiation, communication and
thoughtful decision-making. She also mentors and advises other top
producers in real estate transactions. Her assured management style,
sense of humor and professional demeanor benefit both clients and her
fellow agents. She relies on humor, believing, "She who laughs,
lasts."
